I installed MC4J 1.2 beta 9 on a FC8 box running gnome as a window manager
When I start up mc4j it runs but the screen has nothing on it. Here is the output from the logfile

I figured out the problem. When I used my own installation of java 1.5.X it failed to run, but the redhat FC8 rpm java works fine.
