I have an F5521GW. I'm running Ubuntu 11.04. My kernel is 2.6.38. My machine can see the device: ======================================================================== root@Fuzzbutt:~# lsusb|grep Erics Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0bdb:1911 Ericsson Business Mobile Networks BV root@Fuzzbutt:~# ======================================================================== I dual boot Windows 7 and have confirmed that it is working there. When I run mbm-gpsd, I get this: ======================================================================== root@Fuzzbutt:~# mbm-gpsd ** (mbm-gpsd:19526): DEBUG: Started version: 2cca1000235135d4f0867346018a13ffa5799c23 ** (mbm-gpsd:19526): WARNING **: No GPS devices found. Exiting. root@Fuzzbutt:~# ======================================================================== Can anybody help me debug this? I haven't patched the kernel, as from what I understand, 2.6.38 contains all of the code already. What should I be looking for? Oh, and if it helps, it works fine as a modem, it's just the GPS I can't seem to get working.
