MBTools Release 15 is now available. This release adds a new version of HMIServer which also acts as a Modbus/TCP server. In addition, MBProbe has been updated to provide backwards compatibility with Python 2.5 for Debian Stable support.

Release 06 of MBLibs is now available. This updates the MBLogicEngine soft logic library to the same version as used in the current version of MBLogic. The documentation has also been revised and extended.

Release 15 of MBLogic is now available. The main changes consist of performance improvements for the soft logic COPY instruction.

Release 14 of both MBLogic and MBTools is now available. This release concentrates on HMI improvements. Both MBLogic and HMIServer have undergone major improvements in the appearance and ease of use for the SVG based graphics. Most widgets have undergone major improvements, and a number of new ones have been added.

Release 13 of MBTools is now available. There are no new features, this is a bug fix release only. This fixes a but in the Modbus/TCP server that may have affected some users when used in combination with some clients. If you are not experiencing any problems, there is no reason to upgrade. Thanks to Brandon McLean for finding this problem and providing the information necessary to solve it.

Release 13 of MBLogic is now available. There are no new features, this is a bug fix release only. Release 12 of MBTools is now available. This release concentrates on improvements to HMIServer, adding the following:
- Simplified browser communications configuration.
- Additional and improved graphical controls.
- An added HMI sample application demonstrating alternate screen layouts.
- Added documentation.

Release 11 of MBLogic adds ladder logic, cross references, and other features to make programming easier. Programs will now display in ladder format as well as in IL.

Release 04 of MBLibs brings the soft logic library into sync with the
release 11 of the main MBLogic package. There are no new important features which affect using this package as a stand alone library (except for the increase in the maximum permitted floating point value).

This release introduces the addition of MBProbe. MBProbe is an interactive tool for testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning Modbus/TCP field devices such as valves, sensors, and PLCs. It provides a web based menu driven GUI for reading from and writing to arbitrary Modbus/TCP addresses.

In addition to the above, HMIServer has minor improvements to improve compatibility with MBLogic and also improved documentation.

Release 10 of MBLogic is now available. This adds new HMI features such as strip charts, numeric data entry, and additonal display options. It also adds extended data types to the HMI and soft logic systems.

Release 10 of MBTools is now available. This offers a number of major new features, including extended data types and more HMI widgets.

Release 09 of MBLogic is now available. A minor HMI date bug has been fixed, and some new HMI display options have been added.

Release 09 of MBTools is available. HMIServer has been updated with a minor bug fix and some new display options. There are no changes to MBAsyncserver or MBPoll.

Release 08 of MBTools is now available. This release concentrates on improved modularity in HMIServer to assist developers in adding new protocols.

Release 08 of MBLogic is now available. This offers the ability to save data table values to disk and automatically restore them on the next restart. It also offers improved soft logic performance and system monitoring.

Release 03 of MBLibs is now out. This offers improved performance in the soft logic library and more flexible list based interfacing in the protocol library.

Both MBLogic and MBTools have a new release that incorporates an improved alarm system. Also included are internal improvements to the data table making custom integration of new components easier.

Release 02 of MBLibs is now available. This is the first release of MBLogicEngineCk and MBProtocols together. Both are intended to assist in writing your own custom applications. MBLogicEngineCk provides the soft logic engine from MBLogic as a library. MBProtocols provides the communications functions from MBLogic and MBAsyncServer as a library.

MBTools has been updated to add asynchronous web browser communications to HMIServer. This offers improved responsiveness and better recovery from communications interruptions.

HMI Server has been added to MBLogic Tools. HMI Server is a new package which allows a web based HMI to be added to any Modbus/TCP server. HMI Server provides the same web based interface which has been part of MBServer/MBLogic, but in a stand alone package.

MBAsyncServer and MBPoll are now released together as MBTools. The new package incorporates library improvements from the recent release of MBLogic to keep all packages in sync, but there are otherwise no new features.

Manufacturing automation software for communicating with and controlling factory and process equipment. It includes multi-protocol communications servers (including Modbus/TCP), clients, PLC soft logic, MMI, and other associated systems.

With the incorporation of soft logic, MBServer has now become MBLogic. It offers a complete industrial automation control platform, including networking to field devices, soft logic (PLC), and web based HMI.

Release 5 of MBServer is now out with a new web based HMI. This new feature allows custom HMI web pages with integrated graphics to control factory automation systems in real time. Also included are improved installation instructions.

This is a new release following a major redesign. The new version is closely modelled on the Koyo "Click", and includes many improvements over the older DL205 version.
