It's enough if all you do is display the scene graph.
We develop a physics engine, and for that, we need the actual geometry
to be in the right scale, and the transforms' translations too. And it's
more convenient if everything is in the right scale everywhere in the
graph. Plus, apart from the code that gets the units setting, it's a 2
line change.
