Hi J-S,

yes I aggree with you in both points. I'll be asking about detailed 
design ideas myself when I will contribute again, and this should be 
discussed here.

Roadmap, feature requests and implementation  ( think this is what you 
mean with large design issues ) should go to the osg mailing list. I 
even asked the maintainer of the osg forum if he could link the osg2maya 
mailing into the forum, but this might be to specific
and clutter the forum.
