Please provide an option that will open the window at a nominated fixed size (such as 'the same dimensions as last time') in the same way as options currently allow the last-used file to be opened each time.

    Hi,

    It does remember the last size and location. At least it should. There are a number of reasons why this might not work.

    1. You may be using a program like OneNote where you dock a window onto the desktop. It is similar to resizing the taskbar. These methods shrink the “working area” of the screen that will affect the size and location of the MaxLauncher.
    2. If you manually changed the app.cfg to be read-only.
    3. If you are using a tablet or a PC where you rotate the screen.

    This feature has always been implemented since the first version I think. If your window is not restoring its size then there is a need to troubleshoot.

    Questions:

    1. Can you and do you rotate your screen?
    2. What version are you using?

    Please try the following for a quick test (without rotating the screen or using any other program):

    1. Open MaxLauncher
    2. Resize the window
    3. In MaxLauncher, select [File]->[Exit]
    4. Open MaxLauncher again
    5. Did the window keep its size from Step 2?

    Thanks.

    Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. As requested, I have experimented, and I have discovered that MaxLauncher DOES behave properly. The supposed problem arose this way: For many years, I used two identical monitors on my computer, and shifted MadappLauncher between them. Then, about the time MaxLauncher came out, one screen failed, so I replaced it with a spare screen from the back shed - which was, however, non-identical. And thus started the problem. I have since replaced the non-standard screen, but never re-evaluated MaxLaunchers performance. So, sorry for my question, and thanks again for your app.
