Bugs item #1770110, was opened at 2007-08-08 10:24 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=1770110&group_id=4933 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 3 Private: No Submitted By: Barton Willis (willisbl) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: matrix ^ zero Initial Comment: We have (%i1) matrix([0])^0; (%o1) matrix([1]) but (%i2) 0^0; 0^0 has been generated -- an error. Similarly, [0]^0 --> [1]. (%o1) disagrees with the user documentation for domxexpt. I think the code should be changed to match the documentation --- the matrix ^ xxx code in simpexpt should be changed to simply map the power function onto the matrix elements. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=1770110&group_id=4933 |
