Solution found looking within Gnuplot documentation http://t16web.lanl.gov/Kawano/gnuplot/plot1-e.html#5.4 In maxima, add the following command in plot options : [gnuplot_preamble,"set size ratio -1"] gives an aspect ratio 1 (negative value in the gnu command to adjust the=20 ratio of unit lengths on the axis). ---------- I have tried to find a way to fix the AspectRatio using plot2d I need to plot 2D-curves which should have the same xaxis and y_axis ratio so that circles would be real circles and not ellipses... This parameter is available in gnuplot but does not seem available in Maxima plot2d function Is there any way to control this AspectRatio ?? Thanks Silvain Dupertuis |
