In particular wxmaxima may be relatively easy to build on Linux, but i remember having seen problems in the past when i was using Freebsd on my computer, at least some things not working, like printing. Maybe all this is solved since ages. If the problem was only maxima it would be trivial to solve because maxima builds very easily, once for example sbcl is installed on the machine. -- Michel Talon |
