If the error logic is being enhanced: one thing that would be practical would be: Sometimes a command the test bench issues returns error_catch without giving a hint what error has occurred which sometimes makes debugging harder than expected. Robert told that in this case the error variable isn't set so just telling the test bench to output the error variable in this case wouldn't help. Kind regards, Gunter. Am 30.
