Thanks a lot for your effort.

I compiled the github version of wxMaxima.

I have the trouble with this version of wxMaxima.
I described three condition of wxMaxima as follows:

[1] Input and output expressions were not displayed:

(1) I launched wxMaxima, then an empty window was opened.
(2) I selected the menu "File->New", then a second window was opened.
(3) I selected the first window.
(4) I entered "1+2;" into the empty window, then the cursor was moved automatically. But input and output expressions were not displayed.
(5) I can select all, copy and paste them. I can also print them.
(6) I selected the second window, then is was available to calculate.

[2] I cannot open any wxmx files when i drop them into the application icon of wxMaxima:

(1) I launched wxMaxima, then an empty window was opened.
(2) I dropped a wxmx file into the application icon of wxMaxima, then nothing happened.

(1) I launched wxMaxima, then an empty window was opened.
(2) I opened a wxmx file with the menu "File->Open", then it is opened.
(3) I dropped a wxmx file into the application icon of wxMaxima, then nothing happened.

[3] The window froze:

(1) I launched wxMaxima, then an empty window was opened.
(2) I opened a wxmx file with the menu "File->Open", then it is opened.
(3) I selected the menu "File->New", then a new window was not opened and the window froze.

Anyway, we cannot use multi-window with wxMaxima-16.x on MacOS X.
