Yes, this is extremely important for the project. PLEASE, in the commit
message, address each and every change in the code, and if there are
multiple purposes or goals in the code changes, then make multiple
commits. Otherwise it is more or less impossible (short of unreasonable
effort) for anyone to understand what is going on.
