[Maxima-discuss] quaternion algebra and ATENSOR

According to the Maxima documentation, the ATENSOR package
is supposed to be capable of representing & simplifying
quaternion expressions.

However, the documentation is too scant to understand how to
do this.

Is there any documentation or examples of using quaternions
in ATENSOR?

I found a paper by Viktor Toth called "Tensor Manipulation in
GPL Maxima", but once again, the details were too sparse to
be able to figure out how to use this package.

Can anyone provide any help?

I'd rather not have to re-invent this particular wheel.
