Accoding to the docs I can leave maxima with to_lisp(); and in fact I got a CMUCL prompt but now the following happens if I typ in a Lisp form I can not simply write (+ 1 2) but (+ 1 2);<- trailing semicolon. Another problem I do not come back to Maxima if I type (run) or (run); I got this error message: Error in function EXTENSIONS:CONNECT-TO-INET-SOCKET: Error connecting socket to [localhost:4008]: No such file or directory Restarts: 0: [MACSYMA-QUIT] Macsyma top-level 1: [ABORT ] Return to Top-Level. Debug (type H for help) (EXTENSIONS:CONNECT-TO-INET-SOCKET "localhost" 4008 :STREAM) Source: Error finding source: Error in function DEBUG::GET-FILE-TOP-LEVEL-FORM: Source file no longer exists: target:code/internet.lisp. I'm running Maxima on Debian/Linux unstable with CMUCL MU Common Lisp 18d+ 2002-08-13, running on fbigm Regards Friedrich ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Robert Dodier (robert_dodier) Date: 2008-06-28 09:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=501686 Originator: NO 2 items reported above. (1) Lisp evaluation after to_lisp() requires trailing semicolon: not observed in 5.15.0cvs + CMUCL. (2) (run) after to_lisp() complains about port 4008: observed, but (to-maxima) is the way to return to the Maxima prompt. Not going to change that. Closing this report as "won't fix". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2003-02-09 02:48 Message: Logged In: NO Sorry for that followup. The stuff runs in Emacs but fails in Xmaxima Regards Friedrich ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=683327&group_id=4933 |
