Hi

The source forge plugin is broken because sf.net now
declares a name space in the html.

The fix is to register the name space and prefix each
search with the name space.

Like the following

private static final String SOURCEFORGE_NAMESPACE =
"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";
context.registerNamespace("sf", SOURCEFORGE_NAMESPACE);
context.getValue("//sf:font[text()='Invalid Password or
User Name']");

    I am unfamiliar and do not use this plugin, but would like
    to fix it for you. Can you point me to each location to
    make your suggested changes (e.g. on the invalid pw
    locations, or all context.getValue() locations?)? Better
    yet, could you make the changes and attach a patch?

    Sorry, I can't apply that file. It is a diff, not a patch.
    I tried manually applying them, but things aren't clear
    enough with enough context around the lines to determine all
    locations to make the chage. The diff also includes all
    changes from 1.9 to 1.10.

    The full Java file you attached is revision 10, the same as
    is in source control, so I could not use it either. :-(

    Please either attach the full Java file you changed or a
    patch file.

    Forgot to say I basically got a patch from it by telling
    patch to treat as a std diff, but it results in compile
    errors. Still looking into it, but hope you upload the
    correct file since the changes are limited to this one.

    I think I have a valid patch applied. The remaining
    problems are 10 compile errors of the same issue:
    "The method registerNamespace(String, String) is undefined
    for the type JXPathContext."

    I'm outta time for the moment, but will look into why that
    works for you but not me.

    I got as far as finding the class is in
    commons-jxpath-1.1.jar, and wonder if perhaps it needs a
    newer version.

    If you have any info to share to save me time, please do! :-)

    Yup, just verified that you will need commons-jxpath-1.2.jar

    Stephen,

    Do you consider this issue closed with your commit on Aug
    21, 2006 (thanks for moving it ahead! :-)? Your commit
    comment state "(still broken)", so not sure what is
    next...are you still working on it, or is it ready for a
    snapshot??

    notzippy, Stephen Colebourne applied your patch and made
    additional changes towards fixing this issue.

    I got as far as I coud get in the time i had (and meant to
    leave a note). I'm not working on it at present. The code
    now appears to logon OK and I fixed the tests. However the
    pugin now gets stuck accessing the next page.
