Dear Mauve-Users,
I have been using Mauve for a while now. However out of nowhere, Mauve has stopped working and returns this error :
trying path /home/anirvan/Downloads/mauve_snapshot_2015-02-13/linux-x64/progressiveMauve

I have checked the paths, reinstalled the program. I am doing nothing different. Yet, same files and same run is giving me the error.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Best,
Anirvan
It looks like progressiveMauve is unable to open the first sequence file. I notice the path name contains a duplication, so that it is expecting a file called apmv.fasta inside a directory with the same name. Is that intentional?
Dear Aaron,
thank you for your reply.
The duplication was an error. However rectifying that did not solve the
issue. But it did point me to check all files, wherein i found one of the
files was empty. That sorted the issue.
Many thanks for your response, And congratulations to you for making these
tools and continually helping new comers like me.
Best,
Anirvan
