[Matplotlib-users] line style

Dear group,

is it possible to set the default sequence of line styles, colors, 
widths, etc. to be used when plotting multiple lines ?
pylab.rc seems to set the default parameters only for the first line.

I've googled about it, but it does not seem a very popular question.
