[Matplotlib-users] errorbars and legend

Hi,

When I try to add a legend to an errorbar plot, each individual errorbar
gets added to the legend (without a label). With ~2000 points in my
plot, I end up with >2000 entries in my legend: not good.

Can anyone suggest a work-around for this?
