[Matplotlib-users] matplotlib.ticker

I'm using the EngFormatter and Formatter from matplotlib 2.0.0, matplotlib.ticker .  I have to go to a machine that uses an earlier 0.99.  Is there an easy backward conversion to use those in 2.0 to 0.99?
