[matplotlib-devel] split toolbar in navigation + toolbar

Hello everybody

Last week there was some discussion about splitting the toolbar into
two different entities
Navigation and Toolbar

and
PR https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/pull/2557

Does anybody has any new thoughts or propositions?
