Great news! I've had a soft spot for Maemo (and it's successors) since I got a N770 a few years ago. Loved the Debian package manager, gnome-ish user space, Python bindings for just about everything on the system -- it was everything a Linux geek would want in a tablet. It's a shame that Nokia left and Android is filling in the space. But perhaps the open source community can carry the torch forward.
