Hi, To add more information. I am trying this on two separate installs of matplotlib 0.99, both using TkAgg as the backend. One produces an unreadable file, the other does produce a readable EPS. However, even in this case, zooming in on the image shows that what is being saved is bitmapped, not a vector graphic.
