[Matplotlib-users] pcolor large arrays using TeX

When I try to pcolor a large array, say a few hundred elements in  
each dimension with text.usetex:True set in the rc file, pcolor gives  
an error.  [Mac OS X 10.4, python 2.4.1, matplotlib 0.83.2, TkAgg  
backend]

Plotting smaller arrays, or not using TeX gives no error.

Please post an example and the error message.
