Hi,
The debian package has a new address due to recent changes on mentors.debian.net.
Instructions for installing are now:

- --8<----------------------------------------------------------------------
* add this lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
  deb http://anakonda.altervista.org/debian packages/
  deb-src http://anakonda.altervista.org/debian sources/
* then run:
  # apt-get update
  # apt-get install python-matplotlib python-matplotlib-doc

Thanks Vittorio,

Just for your information, matplotlib no longer requires ttfquery so
you may want to remove this from the debian matplotlib distro.
