I try to write character code 10 (0x0a) in a file and instead octave
writes 13 followed by 10 (0x0d followed by 0x0a), exactely as if it
write a CR LF instead of a LF alone...
the problem doesnot exist with octave for other platform - Darwin -
Linux -
email : ocardoso@ccr.jussieu.fr
the program looks somethings like this
BOS = "native";
filename ="test";
[file, message] = fopen(filename,'w',BOS);
fwrite(file,"tes1",'char',0,BOS)
for num_entries=1:255
fwrite(file,num_entries,'char',0,BOS)
endfor
fclose(file);
return;
and the resulting file looks like this...
00000000 74 65 73 31 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 0d 0a 0b
