#98 MathMod - exporting thinner walls as obj?

Hello
If I export a modell - like "Twisted_Triaxial", is there a posibility to change the thickness of the walls? I like to make a 3dprint in bigger size - but using a through shining material I would like to have thinner walls.

Hi,
To give the surface some tickness, you can either use a 3d mesh program (like Blender) or rework the mathematical formula of your surface (in general this is the hardest way). For parametric surfaces, you can add thickness to the surface by using the formula I've indicated in the script's description "Thick Parametric Torus" but it works better for "closed" parametric surfaces (ie: sphere, torus...) . Since "Twisted_triaxial" is not a "closed" surface, you have to rework your new math formulas (or generated mesh) to make them ready for 3D printing.
