I can type formulas into the rapid mathline, but they won't appear in the edit screen. Also when I am loading an example, it will be visible only in the mathline, the edit screen stays empty except from the welcome note. How can I make my edit screen active?
Thanks

Sorry for the delay. I'm not sure I can help you. This is a very strange problem, and it shouldn't happen at all.
Please try downloading mathcast again and extracting it to another folder, maybe to c:\mathcast or something short.
It appears that some of the files are missing, or that there are thread problems, or maybe something else. If I can't recreate the problem, though, I can't fix it.
Try to see if it works on another computer you have.
Beyond this, I'm not sure I can help. If I think of something else, I'll post it here.
Good day,
Tom

That happened to me the first time I tried to use it; my problem was that my firewall was preventing mathcast from "acting as a server." As soon as I allowed it, everything worked fine.
