    Hi,

I downloaded MathCast yesterday and really appreciate working with it. One thing I couldn't solve is how to close an integral over time with dt (i.e. delta time). I tried the following:
    1. using dt leads to a large space between the two characters. Putting a block <> around doesn't help.
    2. using text, i.e. "dt" keeps the characters together but then they are not italicized. That looks awkward.
    3. the font Lucida Sans Unicode doesn't contain a character for dt so I don't know how to customize MathCast.

Can anybody tell me how to achieve an appropriate dt?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ralf

      Hi,

I'm afraid you can't do it in MathCast. One of the limitatios of the MathCast is that you can do most of the mathematics one needs easily and rapidly but you can't do everything. I just type dt and use the normal result.

      Thanks,
      Tom
