hello,
i want to include in my equations some statistical operators, like:
- ensemble averaging (kind of triangle brackets, you know:),
- time averaging (line over a symbol, its easy to get a single-character length line, but how to get continous line over several characters like: x+y+sin(z), all under one line, tried to make a block of this, does not help),
-can i underline a block?
btw: great tool i love it, only that lack of statistics:(
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
There is a problem with overline and underline, since Mozilla (MathCast's rendering engine), doesn't implement all of MathML. Hopefully, later versions will suport this.
I too use MathCast for probability and statistics. I use the less than and greater than symbols (I'll try to see if there are better symbols). And I also use E[x].
Thanks
