Having ru_RU.KOI8-R locale I can see, copy and paste russian characters within the mrxvt. However, pasting from or to an external application, such as Firefox, Thunderbird, or gedit, makes text unreadable. If pasting from any app to mrxvt I have everything converted into '?' chars. Pasting from mrxvt changes russian characters into accented Europian characters. All other applications works correctly, so that must be an mrxvt problem.

Currently I'm using 0.5.2.

I found the solution: paste to mrxvt can be cured with --enable-cjk and paste from terminal with --enable-xim. A bit strange, but working.

Hi, I think this bug is simply like others about some bad encoding support. I am currently taking care of this. This will probably be fixed the same time as others, and as utf-8 will be enabled.

But I don't close as duplicate, because it is also dealing about "pasting", and maybe there are additional stuffs to take care of...
I will check this and close everything in the same time.
