I went through a TON of MP3's about 10-11 months ago
and painstakingly added the picture to the id tags
(using v1.2). The past few days I have been going
through the MP3's, and about 80% of my pictures are
gone!!! Any ideas as to what may have caused this?
I'm pretty sure the program actually saves the picture
in the tag, so deleting the pictures from my drive
(which I did with all of them, not just the 80% that
are missing) shouldn't have had any effect.

MTT always saves the picture by embedding it in the ID3v2.x
tag, so looks like some other prog decided to save or update
it to say a folder pic instead? for example WMP10 uses the
folder.jpg method(u can see those files if u set explorer to
show all hidden files & folders)..John G.

Turns out, I'm an idiot. The covers were all saved under
the picture type "Other," instead of under "Cover
(front)". Is there an easy way to move the pictures from
one type to the other (or maybe "move" is the wrong word--
re-assign the type might be better)?
