Looks like one of the bugs we reported with Liferay is fixed. Jason -----Original Message----- From: su...@li... [mailto:su...@li...] Sent: Friday, September 10, 2004 1:07 PM To: jwi...@wc... Subject: [SUPPORT] Closed: (LEP-29) Removed portlets do not show up in "Add Content" drop-down box Message: The following issue has been closed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://support.liferay.com/browse/LEP-29 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: LEP-29 Summary: Removed portlets do not show up in "Add Content" drop-down = box Type: Bug Status: Closed Priority: Minor Resolution: FIXED Project: Liferay Enterprise Portal Fix Fors: 2.2.0rc5 Versions: 2.2.0rc2 2.2.0rc3 2.2.0 2.2.0rc4 Assignee: Brian Chan Reporter: Jason Williams Created: Thu, 19 Aug 2004 1:10 PM Updated: Fri, 10 Sep 2004 5:06 PM Environment: Have seen the issue on all environments so far (Win XP, = Linux). Description: When a user removes a portlet from his/her display (by clicking on the = "X"), the portlet does not reappear in the "Add Content" drop-down box = until after the screen is refreshed again or some action or link is = clicked on. You may ask why a user would want to add back in a portlet they just = removed...I think under "normal" use it will not happen often, but as = developers who were evaluating the portal and using it to develop our = portlets it was a very obvious flaw early on and we all learned to = refresh the screen.
