Your rant sounded directed at Jon's RPG Lua which is why it seemed he was the target. As far as CC's Lua contributions, I'm most familiar with the earthquake Lua effect (which is used quite effectively in EMR for some very nice mood setting effects in Jurassic areas as well as big explosions), and of course his coding in Like a GAT out of Hell (very cool level where the player gets to ride a hoverbike). >to me, it seems like a waste of energy, mostly for what I've said >already. We weren't going for *fancy* effects, we were going for mood striking effects that enhance the story line and feeling of each level. There were a lot of things we always wanted to do in EMR that we couldn't do with just Anvil and Forge, but with MML and Lua, we were able to implement a lot of those ideas (like new wand spells, time delayed explosive devices, and a lot more). >3.
