AlephOne will launch, but Marathon and Marathon 2 remain grayed out in the 'Choose Scenario' menu. Clicking 'cancel' results in an error message. The corresponding log entry reads:
while initializing preferences (/Users/ghs/aleph/1.0/PBProjects/../Source_Files/Misc/preferences.cpp:2089)
fatal alert (ID=-1): Please be sure the files 'Map', 'Shapes', 'Images' and 'Sounds' are correctly installed and try again. (/Users/ghs/aleph/1.0/PBProjects/../Source_Files/CSeries/csalerts_sdl.cpp:207)
Steps I've taken:
I've downloaded AlephOne from http://source.bungie.org/download.php multiple times and continue to have the same problem. Attached is an image of the contents of the download as they appear in /Applications/Aleph One. You can see that the icon for the 'Marathon Infinity' file is crossed out. I've unpacked the contents of that file and moved them to the Aleph One folder to see if that would help (also visible in the attached image as 'Contents' folder), but no such luck.
I also implemented the suggestion here: http://www.pfhorums.com/index.php?showtopic=12573 and enabled "Open in 32-bit Mode," but the icons remain gray.
Note:
I have been able to launch Marathon simply from the Applications folder, but have now run into another problem which I will detail in a separate report.
