I was gathering a network game. Just as I hit the play button someone tried to join. The screen went black and then I got the assertion failed message. I don't know whether me hitting the play button and someone joining at the same time caused the crash, or if it was just random. I am pretty sure I did have autogather on because after I hit the play button, I thought to myself, "I hope he got in." I am using Windows XP, using an onboard graphics card Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller, and running A1 in software mode.
