Oh, I see. Maybe my file is done with some unknown operation. And now I have another question: If I have a fastq file which I don't know where it come from, how can I know which kind of fastq it belongs to? Is there a way to check the format of fastq=A3=BF =20 =D4=DA2007-06-18=A3=AC"Heng Li" <lh...@gm...> =D0=B4=B5=C0=A3=BA Hi, What are the read sequences you got from Solexa pipeline? So far as I k= now, the s_?_sequence.txt is also a fastq file. The only difference is in t= his file, qualities are scaled different from mapass' fastq. Actually, I ha= ve never seen a file formated in that way. The correct file should be: @USI= -EAS6_2:2:1:611:882 GTAAAACGACGGCCAGTTTTGTGTATCATAGAT + ???>,04?.???+(somet= hing similar.) FASTQ is the standard input file format for several assemble= rs.
