#158 .74 locks at splash screen with 2nd controller plugged

I have seen a couple of people with this problem. If the
2nd controller is plugged in, Mameox .74.1B will not get
past the splash screen. Unplugging the 2nd controller
allows Mameox .74.1B to function correctly.
Downgrading to .73 I am able to boot Mameox with both
controllers plugged in.

Note: .74 was when the "check for bad clock" code was
added. I know for a fact that this code caused a crash up
until 0.79.1b (and possibly in 0.79.1b as well, don't remember
if the fix made it in or not).

This may just be the typical clock-not-set == crash bug.

I'm running MAMEoX v0.84.b1 and this problem of the "splash
screen locks when a second controller is attached" is still
occurring. Not a big issue though, just have to remember to
remove it.
