When a composite nodelist is created from zone segments, the segments are not checked if they are correct. Each zone file should at least be checked for the starting Zone entry and at least one Region and Host entry.
It happened once (or twice) that a ZC missed the starting entry, that caused a whole zone segment to disappear.
