#13 To-Do list enhancements

It would be nice to have the following.

1. Have an order/serial column (or better yet allow customised columns) for the To-do list.

Right now I have a check list with items that need to be done in a particuliar order. The only way i know how to do this is to put numbers in the summary (see attached image).

If it is a special column, then auto-numbering would be nice. Coupled with drag and drop(or moveup/down), this would make it really handy.

1. To-do list 'templates'. i.e. able to create new copies of existing . Since each list has a date created and updated, this would allow for a 'history' of past lists.

Right now, there is a risk of accidentally clicking on the Delete Completed button and losing a nicely created check list.

2. Check all/uncheck all button for extremely long lists.

3. To-do list trees, i.e. one long list can be divided into sub-categories, but still within the same list, or

As you may have guessed from the screen capture, i mainly use to-do list to check off the items for a document.

Yes. this would be quite useful. To be considered.

I can implement more generic document templates (todo list, notepad text, etc.)..
Please include more details on this issue:

• How the todo list template would work?
• What excactly is history of past list?

It's possible to enter larger/multiline text into Summary column
by clicking on the "..." button in cell edit mode.
There are two problems with this:

1. The "..." button is almost invisible (fixed now)
2. Multiline text is displayed as single long line
   I'll try to fix the 2nd issue in a future.

Check all/uncheck all button for extremely long lists.

I added this function in version 2.9.1.
It is now possible to set values of the "Complete" column to 0%(unchecked)/100%(checked).

Todo list with tree structure was never considered,
because the Tree panel already provides tree outline view (one file=one category, etc.).
However, I can implement "Category" column + category filters with similar functionality.
