Hey, I know this is a very old thread, but this is the only place I've found the same issue I'm experiencing. I'm occasionally getting the same error as above, however I'm running Amavis 2.8.0 and I don't know that the patch is relevant. I'm reluctant to apply the patch due to different versions - I assume I'll just break things.

In the WebUI I receive the following error message, when I try to release an quarantined email:
Error connecting to :9998, $addr cannot be empty
I searched everything, but I can't find where to put the addr information.
