Hello, I'm using mailsync 5.2.1 (Debian package 5.2.1-2) under Debian testing, and= having the following problem. Messages with accented (iso-8859-1) headers get duplicated on both stores. = This can be reproduced as bellow: - If using msig algorithm, change one of your messages to contain an accent= ed character in the Message-ID header, for example: <12345ABC@inst=E2ncia> - If using md5 algorithm, change one of your messages to contain an accente= d character in the From or Subject header, example: “Subject: Testing= c=E3o” Now, when you sync the mailboxes containing the above message, the followin= g happens: 1st time you sync, the message gets duplicated on both stores 2nd time you sync, the duplicates are deleted 3rd time you sync, the duplicates appear again ... and so on ... I know its weird to have accented characters at the message-id header, but = some broken mailers happen to do this. Can someone help me with this ? Thanks in advance, - Cristiano -- http://www.cristianomonteiro.net |

Most are still west of the San Roque district, the Gibraltar access. What about going from one compound to another? Now that has changed. Enrique withdrew a small flat object from the pocket of his tunic. Each border crossing has a computerized registration release that permits entry when this is inserted. No questions are asked? Only at Novgorods Capital Headquarters, if there are any questions. I dont understand. If one of these is lost or stolen, its reported instantly and the internal codes are nullified. I see. I dont! Why these questions? Again, why are you here? What is this |

Hi, I'm looking for an advice with this problem. My Debian (woody) running Cyrus IMAP server lost its system disk. In ordr not to loose any incoming mail I rebuilt it with the current stable (sarge) version and recreated user mailboxes in the new Cyrus IMAP. The old mailboxes were on a different disk and I need to import their contents to the new IMAP. I hoped to do this by using mailsync with the following .mailsync but the localdirectory store isn't recognised. store localdirectory { pat /mnt/cyrus/mail } store cyrus { server (localhost/user=ams} ref {localhost} pat INBOX.sync.% prefix INBOX.sync. passwd _piccina } channel local-cyrus localdirectory cyrus { msinfo .msinfo } Any idea how to get this accomplished? Can I just drop the old mailbox contents into new mailboxes, imcluding subfolders? If that is possible, do I need to run something to recreate the index? Appreciace any help. My Courier conf is: > > store courier-store { > server > {some.domain/tls/novalidate-cert/user=hol...@so...main} > ref {some.domain} > pat * > passwd something_secret > } Does that mean, that the example configuration provided with mailsync: # # "My Draft Folder" on a courier IMAP server # # this will ask you for the username and # password since it's not given here # store courier-inbox { server {example.org} ref {example.org} pat INBOX.My\ Draft\ Folder } is wrong? So the correct config would be: # # "My Draft Folder" on a courier IMAP server # # this will ask you for the username and # password since it's not given here # store courier-inbox { server {example.org} ref {example.org} pat My\ Draft\ Folder } Is that correct? *t -- -------------------------------------------------------- Tomas Pospisek http://sourcepole.com - Linux & Open Source Solutions -------------------------------------------------------- |

That is not strange, that is by design. tls uses same port as nonencrypted imap. ssl uses higher port. Like store exch { server {exchange.mycompany.com/user=test/ssl/novalidate-cert/norsh} ref {exchange.mycompany.com} pat * passwd sectret_shake } All servers i tried so far didn't need this. But i never used exchange with mailsync, so i don't know if the use a special layout. |
