MailMessager - Mail Notification Center / News: Recent posts

* Connections to email servers timeout after 8 seconds. (Requires JRE >= 5)
* Increased the duration that the announcement is displayed.
* Fixed bug where unknown account icon wasn't being displayed.

* Fixed minor bug in kde3 and win32 versions where AOL would report wrong new email count.
* Made win32 new email announcement window brought to front when clicked.
* Connection timed out message no longer displays win32 balloon message-- it was just annoying.

MailMessager v0.0.1 for KDE3 has been released. The utility integrates into KDE3 system tray via the systray4j API. Tested on Kubuntu 6.06 (dapper) with:

systray4j 2.4.1;
Qt 3.3.6;
KDE 3.5.2;
JDK: 1.5.0_09;

MailMessager and systray4j source included in gz bundle. Enjoy!

An initial Win32 binary installer and source code bundle have been released for MailMessager.

A KDE3 version is in the works and should be available soon.
