#32 cannot sign text other that ascii

Maybe no one has expressed enought concern, but this is
really important for me. All cyrillic text gets
converted into a series of ~~~~. I am usinf Xemacs
MULE 21.4.12, Gnus 5.10.2 and the latest Mailcrypt.
Using a non-mule Xemacs is not an option. For all I
can say this problem is equally important to everyone<
who using a script different from Latin

I have a similiar problem with UTF-8 encoded messages. As
long as I use only ASCII characters it works fine, but
non-ASCII characters are first signed, *then* converted to
quoted-printable (upon sending), which invalidates the
signature.
I'm using GNU Emacs 21.3.1, Gnus 5.9.0 and MailCrypt 3.5.8-2.
