Just wondering about some functionality: 1- when pressing space to turn off displaying of mail, the user was in 0.63, able to move around in the folder list with out any messages being shown until he pressed space again. But it does'nt seem to work like this in 0.64, now it automatically selects the next message and shows it when you press arrow down to move to the next or previous mail in the list. Is that a bug or a change in functionality or something else. 2- In [ Preferences | Folder View ] the option "Preview message when selected" throws me off a bit, The way it works is that if the option is selected then by double clicking on a mail in the folder listing a new window pops up and displayes the message there aswell. What I am wondering about is the definition and terminology used in M. The pop up window is that what you define as the previewing of a message? and what do you then call the frame below the folder listing. I have allways assumed that the frame below the folder listing was the preview window, and therefore selecting the option, would turn off displaying of a message in that frame. Another thing is that I think it would be more intuitive if that option works as a sort of toggle, so either you have the pop-up window showing the mail or you have the frame showing the mail but not both which is the case now(when the option is set). But that aside, hwo you define these two would help me understand the names of the methods in the code aswell thanks. -- Thomas Finneid email: tfi...@on... |
