Hi, I need a solution for the following problem. I want to embed an rss output into a html/php page. I have an RSS feed which is available as a URL-command like "[....]index.php?title=Spezial:Recentchanges&feed=rss". The index.php file is local and I don't want to access it through http (Also, because its only available through https:// and only with proper authentication). Moreover, I don't want to create a temporary file for it. Instead, I want to read the output from the command directly. So, the standard "fetching options" for magpierss (which are for URLs and files only) are not enough. Maybe I missed something here: Shouldn't it be possible to execute the command first and then read the output directly into a variable, which then can be parsed by magpierrs? If so, can someone please provide some code fragments for this? Thanks a lot, Thommie -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- THOMAS M.
