I have download mag server and it runs.
But I want to change some tings and I need login and password.
For the webinterface an Linux.

I have tried this many times and I am not able to get the system to go into single user mode. After struggling with it I sought help and found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwYOqoXyOVA
And I STILL cannot get ot to go into single user.
Any help would be most welcome.

The rescue CD option works for resetting the root password; the single-user mode option does not. However, this is unnecessary as the appropriate IDs and passwords are listed on the MAG server's web page once you have the server connected to the network. And there's the rub!! A simple README for this product would have been very helpful. In an environment (like ours) where nearly all server IPs are hard coded, using DHCP was not something that came to mind when installing this product. Had I known this prior to hacking into the system - the hacking would have been unnecessary!!

Just reset the root password then you can change anything. Here this helped me.
