Hi to all! I'm carrying some measurements for wi-fi link quality in outdoor at the U= niversity of Rome Tor Vergata. For this purpose I'm using CB9 pcmcia cards with the= old code of MADwifi driver and 2 stations in master-managed mode configur= ation. I let the Master send broadcast packets as fast as it can and at the same= time record all the received packets on the managed station. I've noticed from the client's log that it seems to receive all packets f= or about 600-700 ms, then it seems to go sleeping (nothing received in the= logs) and then wake up after 3 or 4 beacons. Can anyone tell me if this could be due to a power-saving configuration a= nd DTIM value ? (I saw in the code that dtim is set to a default value of 1,= so it shouldn't be this the cause of my problem, but I don't know what el= se could cause this behaviour of the client) Thanks, Fabrizio |
