Hi, In my experiment, I see RSSI value fluctuate 5dB. I modified the madwifi code to report me per packet RSSI value, it reports average values normally. In addition, there are a lot of reasons for strength changes. Mulitpath is one of them. If you have people walking around, you will be able to see that easily.
