I have a Dell C400 laptop with newly installed Fedora Core 6 I wan to use a Neatgear WG511T card with the 5212 chiposet. my uname -r says Im running the 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 kernel Im very confused with the directions, can someone please help me I found a set of Redhat RPMs on madwifi.org for fc-6, but thay all have terms in the names such as "hal" and "cubbi-suspend" , I cant find any explanation as to which rpm i need for my plane ole 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 kernel. can someone clue me in|? Also, if I can identify, dowmnload and install one of these rpms, what esle must I do? Do I need the kernel source to install theis rpm? Do I need the windows drivers foir the card, as I need for the linuxant drivers? I would appreciate any help I can get here. | am a newbie, the documentation and explanations on the maswifi.org page is a little over my head Thanks, Bob in Houston |
