Hi all, I'm using MadWifi 0.9.2 on a 2.4.31 kernel. I'm trying to bridge an Ethernet iface and the wireless iface. The wireless iface is in managed mode, connected to another MadWifi-enabled AP. Commands to create the bridge (after I brought up the ifaces): brctl addbr br0 brctl addif br0 eth0 brctl addif br0 ath0 ifconfig br0 up The problem I am having is intermittent communication. If a device connected to the Ethernet initiate communication (pings), it is fine. However, on a wireless laptop trying to ping the Ethernet device, I lose about 50% of the packets. Another question, why does simple bridging require wds to be turned on in the driver? Thanks, Simon |
